I graduated from Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Fall 2009. I love Bikram yoga and have been practicing for almost 10 years. I love it because it is challenging Â and it works – it makes you stronger and does heal your body from the inside out. I have a neurological disorder and was prescribed various and sundry medications for it that often left me tired and in a fog, nor did they control it. What worked for me was a regular (6 to 7 times a week) practice of Bikram yoga.
I recently moved to Kingston from Ottawa to teach and practice at Feel Yoga, as there was no Bikram studio at the time in Ottawa. I have been married for almost 30 years to the wonderful Percy, have a wonderful daughter and son in law, and cat. I worked for the Federal Government for 35 years, and have been teaching aerobics for 25 years, including my favorite class, Cardio Kickboxing. I am loving my new vocation of teaching Bikram Yoga in Kingston.
