Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain and discomfort, and the promote health and wellness. Massage therapy is based on a Swedish massage technique, and incorporates other modalities including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, joint play, and hydrotherapy, all of which allow for optimal results. It is a safe, non-invasive treatment.
What should I expect?
Manipulations are always performed within patient’s pain and comfort tolerance. Patients are always covered with a sheet and only areas being treated are exposed. Patients are never compromised in any way. One can expect a safe, effective, and caring treatment.
Jolanta came to Canada from Lithuania in 1995. With her medical background, and enjoyment and understanding of the benefits of massage, she decided to pursue formal training in massage therapy.
